measurement. The role extends to designing control strategies for efficient operation and setting up a
small-scale assembly line for production. If you have 3 or more years of experience as an automation
engineer or in PLC programming, we’d love to hear from you.
Position duties and responsibilities:
∙ Optimize and evaluate existing system, identify bottlenecks, and implement design improvements
to maximize reliability and energy efficiency.
∙ Design & program PLC systems: develop, test, and commission control logic on CODESYS
supported PLCs using IEC 61131-3 languages (ST, LD, SFC, IL).
∙ Specify and interface pumps, valves, sensors, safety interlocks, and instrumentation; ensure
compliance with relevant electrical and process-control standards.
∙ Create and optimize algorithms along with battery management strategies that deliver stable,
high-performance operation.
∙ Create modular code in C/C++ (and Python when required); manage repositories in Git, enforcing
branching, code-review, and CI/CD best practices.
∙ Collaborate with other teams to deploy AI/IoT analytics and real-time dashboards to anticipate
failures and minimize downtime.
∙ Design workstations, tooling, test fixtures, SOPs, and QA checklists to enable small series
production of the monitoring station.
∙ Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols to ensure reliable data exchange
∙ Collaborate and work closely with mechanical, electrical, firmware, data-science, and field-service
teams to deliver fully integrated solutions on schedule.

∙ Experience with Profibus, Profinet or other real-time field-bus networks.
∙ Python scripting for test automation and data analysis.
∙ Familiarity with predictive-maintenance frameworks and real-time analytics dashboards.
∙ Exposure to battery-management systems (BMS) and solar systems.
∙ Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (C#, Visual Basic, WinForms/WPF).
∙ Awareness of cloud security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, IEC 62443).
∙ Interest in data analytics and ML for anomaly detection or predictive maintenance
Qualification and requirements:
∙ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or similar.
∙ 3 or more years hands-on experience with multidisciplinary automation systems.
∙ Proven PLC programming expertise (ST/SCL preferred) or strong embedded C/C++ background.
∙ Competence in IEC 61131-3 languages: LD, ST, SFC, IL.
∙ Solid grasp of control systems, sensor fusion and industrial protocols (Mod-bus TCP/RTU, RS232,
MQTT).
∙ Practical use of Git or comparable VCS in a team environment.
∙ Working knowledge of AWS IoT and analytics services.
∙ Professional English proficiency (spoken & written).
∙ Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
