Crop loss due to insects is a $500 billion per year problem. Atolla Tech (www.atolla.io) intends to make its contribution to crop losses, in the process enabling growers to achieve a higher price point by early identification of insect pests but also improving biodiversity.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Provide a thorough, timely analysis for assigned daily, weekly or monthly projects/tasks that relate to the intern’s area of study.
• Perform an analysis of the sensor system efficiency situated in a tomato greenhouse for collection of pollinator and other insect data.
• Perform all relevant duties as outlined by your supervisor and all other duties to be assigned.

Reporting Structure

• This position reports to the technical lead.
Experience And Educational Criteria
• Currently enrolled in accredited university in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree; Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering or Electronic engineering
• Or; Have an Electronic engineering technician associates degree
• Troubleshoots, adjusts, and repairs all electrical equipment, components, and devices.
• Performs preventative maintenance on assigned electrical systems.
• Identifies inefficiencies and potential problems and coordinates through supervisor to resolve.
• Works with team lead to diagnose causes of malfunctions and to correct.
• Ensures efficient equipment operation and proactively suggests methods to improve performance.
• Moderate Python experience necessary.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Proficient in English.
Hours: 16-20 hours a week
Duration: 2 months with potential to extend
